Miniatures

A little deviation from the Numerical Plan...

Today I am presenting a series of miniature paintings and prints.. The largest one is roughly 4" x 2.5".  All of the frames are handmade, and all are fitted with hanging wire...ready to grace any room in your dollhouse.

  1. I don't have the talent to begin with, but I definitely wouldn't have the patience to do miniatures. Nicely done on your part, though. I can't imagine how nerve-wracking it might be. Maybe I'm just reading my own frustration with small things into this...

  4. Wow! 3 times! You really wanted me to get it, huh? :)

Actually, miniatures are not as difficult as one might think. Just using a smaller brush! And since they are so small, the mistakes are harder to see! My favorite thing about them is they are so quick to do...usually just an hour or so. It's matting and framing them that is the tough part.

Now you've got me wanting to so more of them!
Thanks, Sully, just for being you.
