I know...this work looks remarkably like #0208 Dunes II, which was recently presented to Jim Sullivan, as winner of our Giveaway. However, the differences, though subtle, are many. Jim's painting was rendered immediately after this one. I Liked the feel of this one so much, that I had to attempt to at least duplicate, if not improve upon, the quality of it. Dunes II is less rigid than this...freer...and therefore an improvement in my mind..
I have yet to see a painting that wasn't lovely actually. They are all so beautiful.
